Radhatri Nethralaya (RN) has been recognized for a private-public partnership with the Institute of Child - Health and Government Children's Hospital, Chennai, for screening children for a blinding disorder known as Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).Radhatri Nethralaya has two specialists who are also its medical Directors. 

Dr.Praveen Krishna is the consultant Phaco Surgeon and Paediatric Ophthalmologist. 

Dr. Vasumathy Vedantham is a Vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in diabetic eye disease, 

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).

Both the doctors are well experienced in their respective sub-specialities, and well respected in the ophthalmic fraternity. They were associated with premier eye institutes in the country such as Aravind Eye Hospital & Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai, where they worked as consultants for five years, L.V.Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai where they received extensive training.
