CSI Kalyani Hospital, Chennai

The CSI Kalyani Hospital located in the heart of Chennai is one of the well-known healthcare institutions. The hospital was started as a Charitable Institution whose aim was to provide subsidized medical care for the poor and downtrodden regardless of caste, creed, or religion.

The C.S.I. Kalyani Hospital, which is located on the famous Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai at Mylapore near the famous Gandhi Beach is thus very close to the sea and the fresh sea air is extremely conducive to recovery. This hospital, which is run by the Church of South India, or CSI as it is more commonly known as, is one of the oldest and the largest of the Voluntary Health Organizations in the city of Chennai.

The hospital, which was started by the Methodist Missionary in 1909, as a small hospital for women and children with 24 beds, has now grown as a full-fledged multi specialty hospital with 220 beds providing major specialized services, serving all the people in the society. The hospital has all the modern facilities and it uses sophisticated technology for all its activities.
