About
The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, more commonly known as ILBS is a mono-superspecialty hospital for liver and biliary diseases located in the Vasant Kunj area of New Delhi. The institute has been established by the Government of the Nation Capital Territory (NCT) of New Delhi as an autonomous institute. Moreover, ILBS is a teaching hospital that has been given the status of Deemed University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
The ILBS has been created by the Government of Delhi as a dedicated international center of excellence for the diagnosis, cure, and management of liver and biliary diseases as well as to provide advanced training and research in the field of Hepato-biliary Sciences.
The institute is a 155-bedded hospital for treating disorders pertaining to the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas. The hospital offers the following services:
