Serving - 1 Cup
- Unsweetened almond or coconut milk - 1 cup
- Fresh grated turmeric root - 1 heaping tablespoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
- Grated fresh ginger root - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Raw honey/Sweetener of choice
- Pinch of black pepper (optional)
Heat the almond or coconut milk in a sauce pan over low flame. Be careful not to boil the milk. Add the turmeric, ginger and cinnamon and then add the coconut oil to it. Use a whisk or immersion blender to blend the mixture. Now, add the honey or sweetener of your choice, sprinkle some cinnamon powder and enjoy your health drink.
